The Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince's International Scholarship Program (CPISP), HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, today received Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) Group Chief Executive, Dr. AbdulRahman Ali Saif, at the Court of the Crown Prince.
At the meeting, HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa, received a BHD 200,000 cheque from Group Chief Executive of BBK, as part of BBK‘s 'Platinum’ sponsorship status.
The cheque represents BBK’s ongoing social role in supporting Bahraini youth, and forms part of BBK’s 'Platinum' category sponsor status, which requires an overall annual donation of BHD 1 million.
HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa highlighted the important role of the CPISP, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in investing and empowering Bahraini youth.
His Excellency noted that the support received by sponsors has greatly contributed to CPISP’s achievements and objectives, mainly to provide the best educational opportunities for outstanding Bahraini students, to prepare them for the labor market requirements in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
For his part, Dr. AbdulRahman commended His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's, support of Bahraini youth, and reaffirmed BBK’s pledge to support youth development programs.
